We are delighted to invite you to our annual trip to France to take part in our Circuit based training weekend at Folembray in Northern France.  If you have attended this trip you will know that each year we try to improve the trip so we hope that you can join us for this our 12th successive year.

Please note revised dates below!

After a fantastic sell out trip last year and of course listening to your feedback, we thought it only right to mix it up a bit this year and have a change of scenery yet again.  So this year we will be revisiting the traditional French town of St Quentin just 20 miles north of the track. Sitting just 90 minutes from Calais makes this a perfect destination to reach by bike, leaving you plenty of energy to face the track the next day or to venture further after dropping your luggage to explore the regions great roads and scenery. St Quentin itself is steeped in history and full of fascinating art deco architecture, and buildings, luckily the hotel sits at the foot of one of the most famous and grandest, the Basilica which overlooks the hotel in which we stay.  Want to explore on foot?  Take just 2 minutes and you will hit the hustle and bustle of St Quentin’s beautiful square where many bars and restaurants don the perimeter, offering huge flexibility for food and beverage.   A fantastic place to sit and people watch and let the world go by.  And for those of you who want to explore the region, the town of St Quentin sits in the heart of the Picardy area.  Here we are surrounded by parks and forest with some great roads to explore on your bike if you so choose.

At the hotel you will find 3star plus accommodation, breakfast is extensive in fact one of the best we have had, the staff are extremely friendly and nothing is too much trouble.  Since our last stay here the hotel has undergone a major refurbishment, (nearing completion) and most of the rooms are now air conditioned (a must at this time of year)

We are pleased to announce that the dates for next year’s weekend event have been released, now is the opportunity for you to check diaries and make sure you are free to attend.

We will travel out in groups on Friday 16th August by ferry (although travel by Eurotunnel can also be arranged by yourself directly should you so prefer to do this), from Dover and travel to the Hotel Ibis, St Quentin.   It is about 115 miles from Calais, direct via the A26, or if you want to take a more scenic route there are some stunning approach roads steeped in WW1 history; being not far from Chemins des Dames and also the site of the 1914 Christmas Armistice at the Aisne Road.  Return by Ferry from Calais to Dover on Sunday 18th August.

You can extend your trip upon request to make the most of your journey to France, (no extra charge for return ferry crossing within 5 days, accommodation* will incur a charge), plus this year should you want to extend your trip with some ‘off bike activity’.

As in previous years the price includes return ferry crossing, accommodation for 2 night’s on a shared room basis (single accommodation possible on a single supplement basis), with breakfast, guides to and from the circuit, circuit fees and on-track coaching.  A professional photographer* will also be in attendance to capture your moments.
