This year’s ELAM AGM took place on the 3rd March 2020 at the Moby Dick public house in Romford. This is the second year the AGM has been held at this venue and it proved just as popular as last year. A generous buffet was laid on and a large room was provided for our annual meeting.
Over 30 members and associates were in attendance and the meeting was chaired by Anthony McNamara who was voted in for his second year as ELAM Chairman. Chris Cotter continues as Vice Chair and Mike Coggins as Treasurer. Jacqui Barnard was voted in for her 5th year in the role of group secretary and due to other ongoing commitments expressed a desire to hand over the role to another member of ELAM by the next AGM. Angelo Villaschi offered to help with the secretarial role and was voted in as the latest new member of the ELAM committee.
In his Chairman’s speech Anthony praised the hard work of the committee, all the volunteers, ride leaders and those that keep ELAM running smoothly. Amongst his aspirations for ELAM in the upcoming year is to see the relaunch of Progression ELAM’s newsletter and to encourage more observers to join the training team.
The full minutes of the AGM will be posted on the members forum under the sub section Committee.
